Your pickup and check-in code

The QR code you show to collect store items and to check in at events, where to find it and how to get a new one.

Your krewe gives you a personal QR code. Krewe volunteers scan it to hand over the store items you’ve bought, and to check you in at the door of krewe events. It’s the same code for both.

Where to find your code

  • For store pickup: open My Account and click the Orders tab. Your pickup code is at the top whenever you have items from this season waiting to be collected. Once everything has been handed out, the code is no longer shown there.
  • For event check-in: open the My Tickets tab. When you have tickets for an upcoming event, your Check-in code is shown there. If the Orders tab is already showing your pickup code, My Tickets reminds you that your door check-in code is the pickup code on the Orders tab instead of showing it twice.
  • In your pickup email: when the krewe announces a pickup day, the pickup notice email usually includes your code too, so you can show it straight from your inbox.

At the pickup table or the door, turn your screen brightness up and hold your phone steady so the volunteer can scan it. A screenshot works too.

Letting someone collect for you

Anyone holding your code can collect your items. If a friend or family member is picking up for you, you can send them your code (a screenshot is fine). Only share it with someone you trust to collect for you.

Get a new code

If you’ve shared your code and want to stop it working, or you think someone else has a copy, get a new one. This option is on the pickup code card on the Orders tab.

  1. Open My Account and click the Orders tab.
  2. Under Your pickup code, click Get a new code.
  3. Confirm when asked. Your current code, and any screenshot of it, stops working straight away.

You’ll see “New code ready. Your old code no longer works.” The new code replaces the old one everywhere, including for event check-in.

Any code you’ve already sent to someone, or saved from an earlier pickup email, won’t scan after you get a new one. Send them the new code if they’re still collecting for you.

If your code won’t scan

Make sure you’re showing your latest code from My Account rather than an old screenshot or email. If it still doesn’t work, the volunteer can look you up by name. You can also send the krewe a message from the Support tab.
