Cancellations and refunds
How to cancel or change event tickets, and what to expect about refunds.
You can’t cancel or change tickets yourself. Your krewe handles it, and whether you get a refund is up to them.
Ask to cancel
- Open My Account and click the Support tab.
- Send your krewe a message with the event name, the date and what you want to cancel.
What happens when tickets are cancelled
- The krewe cancels the whole purchase. They can’t cancel just some of the tickets on it.
- The purchase shows Cancelled on My Tickets, with the refund amount if there is one.
- You get an email with the subject “Tickets cancelled:” followed by the event name.
- If the krewe refunds you, the money goes back to the card you paid with. The email says how much. It can take 5–10 days to show on your statement.
- The seats go back on sale for other people.
Want fewer tickets?
Because a purchase is cancelled as a whole, the usual way is for the krewe to cancel and refund your purchase, then you buy the number you want again on the Events page. Check with your krewe first, especially if the event is close to selling out.
Want more tickets?
Just buy more on the Events page, as long as you’re under any limit per person and sales haven’t closed. See Buy tickets or RSVP.
Can’t make a free event?
Let your krewe know so they can cancel your RSVP and free up the seats for someone else.
Event tickets are separate from store orders and dues. For store orders, see The store.
