Parade staging and directions
Find the krewe's den and this season's parade staging location in My Account, with one-tap directions.
My Account can show you how to get to the krewe’s den and, for riders, where parade staging is this season. Both appear in a Directions panel near the top of My Account, above the tabs.
What’s in the Directions panel
The panel has up to two cards:
- Den: the krewe’s den. Every member sees this once the krewe has added it.
- Parade staging, followed by the year: where riders line up for this season’s parade. You see this when your member type is one that rides (or substitutes) and your krewe organizes its floats on its site.
Each card can show:
- The place’s name, for example the name of a hall or a street corner.
- The address.
- A Get directions button, which opens the location in a map app in a new tab. On a phone, that’s usually your maps app, ready to navigate.
- A note from the krewe, such as where to park, which entrance to use or what time to arrive.
If the krewe hasn’t filled in a place yet, its card doesn’t appear. If neither is set, there’s no Directions panel at all.
Parade day tips
- Check the staging card a day or two before the parade. The krewe sets staging for each season, so it may not be the same as last year.
- Read the note on the card. Arrival times and parking details are often there.
- Download your float map from the Your float panel so you have your float and seat handy even with a weak signal. See Your seat and the float map.
- Keep krewe emails turned on. Your lieutenant may send last-minute details. See Messages from your lieutenant.
Don’t see the staging card?
- The krewe may not have added this season’s staging location yet.
- Your member type may be set up as one that doesn’t ride, such as a social membership.
- Your krewe may not organize its floats on its site.
If you’re riding and still can’t find it, ask your lieutenant.
Krewe events can have their own location and directions, too. Those appear on the event’s page, not in this panel.
