Pick up your order
How you'll hear about pickup day, what to bring, using your pickup code, and sending someone to collect for you.
Most store items are handed out by krewe volunteers on a pickup day. (Some krewes deliver throw packages straight to the floats instead; see Throw packages delivered to your float.)
Finding out when to collect
Your krewe sets the pickup days and announces them by email. A pickup notice has the subject “Store pickup on” followed by the date, and tells you the time and place. What else it says depends on your orders:
- If you have items ready, it lists them and includes your personal pickup QR code, so you can show it straight from the email.
- If you still owe on an order, it tells you how much and asks you to pay before the pickup date, with a link to My Account.
Pickup notices are account emails, so they arrive even if you’ve turned off krewe announcements.
What to bring
Bring your pickup code. You’ll find it in two places:
- On the Orders tab in My Account, under Your pickup code. It appears whenever you have items from this season waiting to be collected.
- In your pickup notice email.
One code covers all your orders. A screenshot works too. If you don’t have your code, the volunteer can look you up by name or email instead.
Turn your screen brightness up and hold the phone steady so the volunteer’s camera can read the code.
At the pickup table
- Show your code. The volunteer scans it with their phone and sees everything you have ready.
- They hand over your items. If you’d rather take only some today, say so; the rest stay waiting for you.
- Check the Orders tab afterwards. Collected items show Handed out N of M.
Only orders that are paid in full can be handed out. If you still owe on an order, the volunteer will see it as not ready. You can pay the balance on the spot from the Orders tab on your phone (see Pay the rest of an order); once the payment goes through, the volunteer can hand your items over.
Someone collecting for you
If you can’t make it, someone else can collect for you. Either:
- send them your pickup code (a screenshot is fine), or
- ask them to give your name at the table so the volunteer can look you up.
The volunteer can note who collected the items, and that’s kept with your order.
Anyone holding your code can collect your items, so only share it with someone you trust to collect for you.
Get a new code
If your code has been shared more widely than you’d like, replace it:
- On the Orders tab, under Your pickup code, click Get a new code.
- Confirm. Your old code, and any screenshot of it, stops working straight away.
You’ll see “New code ready. Your old code no longer works.” The same code is also used to check in at krewe events, so use the new one at the door too. Older pickup emails carry the old code, so show the code from My Account instead.
For more about your code, see My Account.
