Who can shop in the store

Who your krewe lets order, what the store says when you can't, and what to do about it.

Anyone with an account on your krewe’s site can sign in and look around the store. Whether you can actually order depends on choices your krewe has made.

You need to be signed in

The store is only for people with an account on your krewe’s site. If you open /store/ while signed out, you’re taken to the sign-in page first and brought back to the store afterwards.

If you’re signed in but see No account with followed by the krewe’s name, your login isn’t connected to an account with this krewe. This can happen if you signed up with a different krewe that uses the same system. Ask your krewe how to get set up.

Who your krewe lets order

Your krewe chooses which of these groups can place orders. It can pick any combination:

  • Members whose dues are paid in full for this season (including members who weren’t charged dues).
  • Members who still owe dues for this season.
  • Non-members: people with an account on the krewe’s site who haven’t joined as members.

Many krewes only let members who are paid up order, so paying your dues is often the key to opening the store.

When you can’t order

If you aren’t allowed to order right now, you can still browse, but you’ll see a message near the top of the store, on product pages and in your cart instead of the Add to cart button. The message tells you why:

MessageWhat it means
Store orders open once your dues are paid in full. You’re a member who still owes dues, and your krewe only takes orders from members who are paid up. A Pay your dues link appears next to it. Once your dues are paid in full, you can order straight away.
Store orders are open to krewe members only. You have an account but aren’t a member of the krewe, and the krewe only sells to members.
Store orders are not open to your membership right now.Your krewe isn’t taking orders from your group at the moment.
The store is closed right now. / The store is not open right now.The krewe isn’t taking any orders at the moment. Check back later.

The store checks this every time you add something to your cart and again at checkout. If the krewe opens the store to you, or you pay your dues, you don’t need to wait; reload the page and you can order.

For help paying your dues, see Joining and dues. If you think the message is wrong, contact your krewe from the Support tab in My Account.
