Costumes and costume sizes

Giving the krewe your costume size before the deadline, and buying costumes in the store if your krewe sells them.

Most krewes need every rider’s costume size well before parade day so they can order costumes. If your krewe collects sizes on its site, you give yours in My Account.

Give your costume size

  1. Open My Account and click the Membership tab.
  2. Find the Costume size card and choose your size from Your size.
  3. Click Save size.

If there’s no Costume size card, your krewe isn’t collecting sizes this way. Ask your lieutenant how they want your size.

Watch the deadline

Your krewe may set a date and time after which sizes are locked. Until then, the card says “You can change this until” with the deadline, and you can change your size as often as you like. After the deadline the card just shows your size with a note saying when sizes were locked, and you can’t change it yourself.

To change it after the lock, click Contact support in the note and ask the krewe. They can still update it if the order allows.

If you haven’t picked a size, your lieutenant can see that and may email riders who still haven’t chosen one. Pick yours early so you’re not chasing the deadline.

Sizes that are no longer offered

If the krewe changes its size list after you picked a size, your size stays on file and shows as “(no longer offered)”. You can keep it, or choose one of the current sizes if you’d like to switch before the deadline.

Buying costumes in the store

Some krewes sell costumes, or costume pieces, in their online store. If yours does, you buy them like any other store item, and they show on the Orders tab in My Account with their status, for example “Ready for pickup”. You collect them at pickup with your pickup code. See the store help for how buying and pickup work.
