Your throws

Riders buy the beads, cups and other throws they toss from the float. If your krewe sells throws in its online store, you can keep track of everything you’ve bought in My Account.

The My Throws tab

Open My Account and click My Throws. It lists the throws and throw packages from your placed store orders, across seasons, with:

• Season: the parade year the order is for.
• Item and Quantity.
• Order: the order number, so you can find it on the Orders tab.
• Status: where each item stands (see below).

Only items in the store’s throws and throw packages categories show here. Everything else you buy, like merchandise or costumes, is on the Orders tab. If you haven’t bought throws yet, the tab says so and links to the store.

Delivered to your float, or picked up?

Your krewe decides how throws reach you.

• Delivered to float. Many krewes load throw packages straight onto the floats, so you don’t have to carry them. If your krewe does this, those items show the status “Delivered to float” once they’re paid for. You don’t need your pickup code for them, and they won’t be handed out at pickup.
• Picked up. Everything else is collected at a store pickup. The krewe emails you when there’s a pickup day. Bring your pickup code (see Your pickup and check-in code).

Which items go to the float is decided when you place the order, so the status shown for an order won’t change if the krewe changes its setup later.

What the statuses mean

Status	What it means
Ready for pickup	Paid and waiting for you at the next pickup.
Handed out 2 of 3 (for example)	You’ve collected some or all of this item.
Delivered to float	Paid, and going straight onto your float. Nothing to collect.
Awaiting payment	The order still has a balance. Pay it on the Orders tab so the item can be released.
Awaiting payment (delivered to float once paid)	A float item that will be loaded on your float once the order is paid.
Being sorted out by the krewe	Something about the order needs the krewe’s attention. They’ll be in touch, or you can ask through the Support tab.
Cancelled	The item was cancelled. A note like “1 cancelled” means part of the quantity was cancelled.

Items with a balance owing aren’t released, either at pickup or onto the float, until they’re paid. Check the Orders tab for your store balance before parade day.
